Welcome to JASA

jasalogo150JASA has provided youth soccer for the Jacksonville community since 1975. JASA is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization which is dedicated to providing an enjoyable and rewarding experience to youngsters and their families through the game of soccer.

While our program has produced many collegiate and even some professional players, our primary goal has always been to emphasize individual development and growth through participation in the game of soccer. We strive to do that by offering a quality soccer program for every youth player that focuses on skill development, understanding of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Coaches Needed!

Recreation Soccer is in need of volunteer coaches! We still have many teams without a head coach. If you are interested please contact Jamie Askins the Recreation Coordinator at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or Carla Phillips at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Your service is grealty appreciated.

There still are a number of teams that do not have coaches in place. It is imperative that each of you consider whether or not you you are willing to coach your child's team or if you know someone who might be able to coach.  If we are unable to find a coach before the beginning of the season the team will have to fold. Because of roster restrictions, these players can not be added to existing rosters for teams that have coaches.

JASA has grown tremendously over the last year. We have a great number of kids interested in playing soccer. The JASA association relies on volunteer coaches at the recreation level to maintain our success and growth. We need your continued support in order to provide these young players the opportunity to enjoy recreation soccer.

Your Funds At Work!

Below you will find some of the major contributions that the Clubs funds have been used for this year.

JASA had to buy a new mower because the old Toro was not cost effective to repair anymore. JASA had to purchase a golf cart which is required in support of the NCYSA State Cup events and to cover the Williamsburg Plantation Fields. JASA was also able to accomplish putting up nets on the telephone poles along the fence line. Would like to give a special thank-you to Jones Onslow Electric Membership Corporation for thier support in this effort. Replacement of sprinkler heads, sensors, and control valves were also completed to damaged or worn out portions of the 22 sections which consists of 10 sprinklers each.
